Another great story by Peter James: gripping and well written, a page turner that kept me reading. It's always great to catch up with Roy Grace and his team, follow the investigation, be on the edge and guessing till the last page.

Roman emperor are usually complex characters and some are more complex and crazy than others. Domitian is not one of the worst but he surely was different from the other emperors of his family.
This a well researched and compelling book, a fascinating portrait of the last of the Flavian dinasty featuring some very interesting characters like the other members of this dinasty and Nervia.
I like S.J.A. Turney style of writing and loved this one.

Losing a pet is heartbreaking and if you experienced the loss you cannot help being moved to tears when you read this book.
There's some very funny moments and some others that made me cry. Heartbreaking and funny at the same time.

I came late to this party and it was a great party. An intriguing thriller that talks about killers and murders but also about traditions and history.
Hana Westerman is a strong characters, a clever woman and an interesting characters.
The plot kept me hooked and the solid mystery kept me guessing and surprised me at each twists.
