Ronald Malfi is becoming one of my favorite horror writer and these novellas about books met my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
They're well written, kept me on the edge, and are great examples of how well Malfi can write.
Highly recommended.

The stories of the Cornish Midwives are a favorite of mine and the characters are becoming friend you cannot help rooting for.
This is set around Christmastime as it's a heartwarming and well written mix of romance and serious issues. The author deals with the issues with a lot of empathy.
An excellent read, highly recommended.

It's a thought provoking and poignant story even if the tone is light, there's plenty of humour and funny moments.
Margaret is a woman with learning disabilities and she was "vanished" when she was 7, being institutionalised in a house for mental disabled people.
The dual time line story follow her since she was a child and the woman in the present, a huge fan of Cilla Black, receiving money from someone who only sign as C
I loved this story as Margaret is a strong character, an unusual one as there's not a lot of stories featuring a learning disable lady as MC.
Loved the style of writing and the storytelling, I look forward to reading another book by this author.

When I requested this arc I didn't know who Bunny Mellon was and checked on AD her gardens and residences.
I was fascinated by the taste, elegance.
This is the story of a creative woman who was extremely wealthy, not always happy, but who created great gardens and wonderful interiors.
It's also the story of the 1% of the 1%, a world so removed from me that i can only read about it.
The author is a good storyteller and the book is never dry or boring.
Highly recommended.
