Elizabeth Strout is a master storyteller and I can't find anything I don't like in the phrose, setting, and characters.
Everything seems so simple and everything is able to kept me reading and turning pages.
I was happy to read another book about Lucy and William. It was hard to read at times as the pandemics is still going and it was emotionally charged.
There's a lot of emotions, the pandemics is one of the main characters as Maine.
I read it in one evening as I wasn't able to stop reading and found the storytelling riveting.
A great book that can be emotionally challenging at times.
Highly recommended.

I loved this book, love this picaresque novel, was moved by the harsh life of the children, and smiled because there's hope.
The author is a talented storyteller and somehow I thought about Roddy Doyle and "Paddy Clarke".
This isn't a nostalgic book about "Oh look, Ireland used to be so lovely" because there's no sugar coating and the author did an excellent job in showing what it was.
I strongly recommend it and will surely read other books by this author.

This is an interesting book if you are a music lover interested in learning what happens in your brain when you listen to music.
It's a well researched and informative book even if a bit too technical at times.
I recommend it if you are interested in neuroscience and music

This is a good introduction to the craft, informative and well explained. There's not a lot if you are more experience but I believe there's always something new you didn't know.

The story of Russia is an intriguing, complex, and fascinating topic. I have to admit that I knew very little about the myths and how the history was modified according to the type of regime.
The author is an excellent storyteller and this extensive book is never dry and always kept my attention.
An important book for the current times.
Highly recommended.

It was an entertaining story and a good debut. It's a character driven story full of twists, the characters are fleshed out and the world building interesting.
The pace was a bit uneven and slowed down in the second part.
I enjoyed it.
