I hope there's going to be other books in this lovely series as I thoroughly enjoyed and this one was very entertaining.
I was glad to catch up with Beth and the characters, well written as usual. The solid mystery is well plotted and kept me guessing.
Highly recommended.

The Dying Squad was one of the most original book i read last year: an intriguing story, fascinating world building, great characters.
This is the excellent follow up and the mix of urban fantasy and thriller works well making it a gripping and highly entertaining book.
Adam Simcox is a talented storyteller and I like his storytelling.
There's questions left unanswered and I think and hope a next book will be out.
This one is highly recommended.

Olivia Atwater writes lovely mix of fantasy and romance set during Regency. Half a soul was lovely, a great introduction to this world, Ten Thosand Stiches is another great story that I found enjoyable and kept me reading.
Great world building and storytelling.

3.5* upped to 4
I love the rest of the series but I struggled a bit with Longshadow as I found it quite slow. The characters and the plot are well done, the pace is a bit uneven.
It's the conclusion of this series and I think will read it again as it answers to all questions about the characters.
The author is talented and I would be happy to read other books set in this world

I fell in love with this book since the first pages: there's humour, likeable characters, a fascinating world building.
There's a crazy groups of adorable people and Mika, a very interesting character.
Loved how Mika tries to be herself and follow her heart and not rules written in a book. Loved the house, the young and old witches.
Loved this story and i hope there will be other books featuring these characters.
Highly recommended.

A well written, entertaining, and unusual fantasy rom-com. I never read a fantasy rom-com before and thoroughly enjoyed this one.
The characters are likeable and fleshed out, I rooted for them and hoped for the best. I liked the world building and the storytelling.
I want to read other books by this author as I enjoyed this one.

R.F Kuang is one of the best fantasy writer of her generation even if the definition "fantasy writer" is not the best to describe her works as they're very complex and fascinating.
Babel is a fantasy, is dark academia, but it's also a political book about colonialism and how it involved the life of people who were involved.
It's a gripping and entertaining story but it's also thought provoking. There's world building and fantasy but there's also history and a vivid background.
I loved it and I have some difficulties in finding the words to express my love for this book.
Highly recommended.

An entertaining graphic novel featuring witches and academia. There's elements' of Harry Potter and the story was entertaining.
I loved the drawings. I think it must be read in paper as it was a bit hard to read the small text.

I'm a sucker for Hallmark like Christmas novels and this one was perfect. The setting is fabulous, Scotland, and the quirky and lovely characters made me wish I could spend some time with them.
Sarah Morgan is an excellent storyteller and this is a festive, heartwarming and compelling story.
