I liked this sweet, heart warming and entertaining book.
I already read other by this writer and I was looking forward to reading this one.
I'm happy i required it because it was a good reading experience.
The cast of characters was interesting and relatable (I loved the dog), the setting was amazing and described without too much tourist-brochure style as it often happens with Tuscany.
I like the style of writing and it was very good in this book.
I look forward to reading the next book by this author.

A very good start for a new cozy series.
It was entertaining and fun to read.
I loved the quirky cast of characters and the plot, full of twists and turns.
The mystery was good and it kept me guessing till the end.

I was a fan of Happy Day so this book made me curious.
I was happy to read it as it was great so read about the characters later in their life.
It was an entertaining and engaging book even if it sometime made me feel sad.
It's well written, I liked how the characters were written and how the plot was developed.
The mystery was not what attracted me but it was interesting and with no plot hole.

A lovely novella i really enjoyed. It was fun to read and entertaining.
Even if I missed the usual setting it was great to see the characters in an urban setting.
It was also great to see Charlotte in a different setting and read the development in her character.
This is a fast read with no murder but with a mystery that have to be solved.
I look forward to reading the next installment and see what will be of Charlotte.

I enjoyed this mystery full of reminder of Golden Age books.
It was engaging, entertaining and interesting.
The book is well written and I liked both the setting and the historical background.
There is no highly likable or relatable character, each of them - detective included - comes with a more or less hidden agenda but they were fun to read, even if a bit over the top.
The mystery was good, no plot hole, and it kept me guessing till the end.
I look forward to reading other books by this writer.

A solid historical fiction, well researched and interesting.
I liked the description of the historical background, the women condition and how the witch hunt worked.
It's a bit slow at times but I think this helps to see in a better way how the characters evolve and how they are involved in a historical event.
Fleetwood goes from being a spoiled young girl to a woman able to fight and stand for what she cares.
The cast of characters is well written and fleshed out.
I will surely read other books about the Pendle process and look forward to reading other books by this author.

Even though I'm Italian I like to read books that talks about Italy, especially romances. It's always great to see your country through different eyes and I liked how Tuscany and Florence were described.
This is an enjoyable and entertaining read, a perfect read for a lazy afternoon.
