This is the first book I read in this series and won't surely be the last as i found it very entertaining and compelling.
There's plenty of humour, a sweet romance, and a lot of funny moments featuring animals.
I loved this story.

A funny, chaotic, and heartbreaking story told by the POV of a six years old. A choral story featuring women of all ages and the circle of life. An ailing grandma, a child, and heavily pregnant mother (it made me think of the virgin, the mother and the crone), great characters that I loved.
The author is a master storyteller and I fell in love with the style of writing.

it's very dark book, it pushed me to the limit of my comfort zone but kept me hooked as it very well written.

This isin't a book for faint of heart as some scenes are very hard to read and brutal. It's also a hell of gripping, gritty, and twisty story that kept hooked even when I found hard to read.
Excellent storytelling and plot development, a solid mystery.
