The second book in this series and it's better than the first one as I loved it.
The music festival settings was interesting and I liked the characters.
The mystery is solid and kept me guessing.
Highly recommended.

I'm loving this series as the books are fast paced, gripping, and keeps on the edge till the end.

I didn't read the first novel by this author but I had no issue with this one.
Dark, twisty, and gritty. An excellent storytelling kept me hooked and the grim description of the setting were fascinating.
I will surely read other novels by this author.
Recommended.

A dual timeline, a gothic novel that mixes paranormal, past and present. It kept me hooked and on the edge till the last page.
Well developed and well told,

I didn’t know all the author feature in this anthology by Stephen Graham Jones and Ramsey Campbell were enough to know it was an interesting anthology.
I got more than I bargained because I loved the short stories by the author I knew but discovered some new to me author.
Not all the stories are at the same level but there’s a lot of different tropes and twists to make it a gripping read.

I know that reading a book in the middle of a series it’s a bit deprecated but I loved the plot and couldn’t stop myself from requesting this arc.
It was a good idea because I enjoyed the plot and discovered a new lovely series and I have to read plenty of old and new books.
Sanderson is an excellent storyteller and this story is fast paced and action packed. Great world building and interesting characters.
It’s not a long novel (according to current fantasy standard) but there’s a lot going on.
Even if I enjoyed I recommend to read the series in order.
Highly recommended.

I never read anything by this author before and I was attracted by the cover. It was a good choice because the author can write and I fell in love with these stories and the storytelling.
There’s different type of stories and, even if they’re not all at the same level, they’re well plotted and fascinating.
Highly recommended.

My reaction to any Andrew Caldecott’s book is “I don’t know what’s happening but I know I’m loving it”.
I don’t know if I would be able to summarise the plot of Momenticon and there’s a lot going on and everything makes sense in a sort of non linear logic.
This book was marketed as the love child of Alice Through the Looking-Glass and Station Eleven. I didn’t read Station Eleven and there’s plenty of references to Carroll but there’s plenty of references to famous paints, The Hunt in the Forest by Paolo Uccello amongst the others. This make me think that Caldecott is a sort of Hieronymus Bosh and something in the plot made me think about The Garden of Earthly Delights.
That said this is an entertaining book, a book full of food for thought as it deals with a dystopic future where people lives under domes and people is being engineered for satisfying production needs.
There outliers are amongst the few persons who live in a sort of independent way
This the start of a gripping and enthralling trip into a phantasmagorical world. There’s a sort of quests, there’re some villains, and there’s some lovely characters life Fogg or Morag.
I loved this book and can’t wait to read Simul, the follow up.
I think it’s a sort of marmite book and may not everybody will love it. But if you try and follow the white rabbit you will have a lot of fun.

I loved Red, White & Royal Blue, I had a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed it. I Kissed Share Wheeler is another highly entertaining and riveting story by this author.
It's one of those book that makes you laugh and think. There's a lot of humour but there's also the description of a small town where people is apparently all proper and prim but there's a lot of hypocrisy.
The author did an excellent job in developing the plot and the characters, in describing the atmosphere,
I strongly recommend it.

This Heyer fan loved it as it reminded me of the best moments of Ms Heyer, made me root for the characters, and had a lot of fun.
