The Juneteenth Story: Celebrating the End of Slavery in the United States
Alliah L. Agostini, Sawyer Cloud
I read about Juneteenth but didn't know the story behind this date. This book was an excellent way to learn more about it.
It's an excellent read for adult and children.
Highly recommended.

Something in this book made me think about Italian romantic story of the XIX century. Poets, words, a city that could be in Italy.
I liked the style of writing and liked the characters, the different stanzas were an interesting literary artifice but I was sometimes confused by the variety of characters.
All in all I liked this book.

Evenfall is becoming one of my favorite fantasy series as the mix of dark fantasy, paranormal romance, horror is working well and the story are both riveting and gripping.
I had a lot of fun in reading The Iron Sword, I read it in one setting and found Ash, the main POV, a fascinating character.
The plot is fast paces and there's a lot of twists and actions. The monsters are becoming more horrifying and I appreciated how the author was able to deal with the online hatred and incorporate it into the plot.
Julie Kagawa is an excellent storyteller and develops a fascinating world building and great characters.
I can't wait to read the next story.
Highly recommended.

It's one of those book that push the boundary of my comfort zone as it's gritty, hard boiled, and somehow alien.
The style of writing is peculiar, the mind of The Boy is somewhat alient to me but fascinating at the same time.
It was like travelling to another planet, not being sure if you understood, and loveing it.
Highly recommended.

I'm loving this series and this is the best instalment so fa: complex, full of twists and gripping.
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the description of life in London at the beginning of WWII and was glad to catch up with the characters.
There's a double set of murders, one more political and the other involving people from the gangland.
It's a compelling and entertaining read and I can't wait to read the next story and there's some clue of new development in the character's life.
Highly recommended.

This is a weird book and it’s an interesting book. It’s a book that made me laugh and think.
It’s not an easy read, it’s book that requires the 100% of attention.
It made me think of the Conte philosophique of the XVIII century and of some of the best speculative fiction.
It’s not an easy review and it’s a complex book. Thomas Kast can surely write and he’s a good storyteller.
A developed a story that is challenging logic but it’s totally logic at the same time. His characters are absurd and funny.
He makes you think but never takes himself too seriously.
It’s an entertaining read that will make you think and I’m sure it can be appreciated by a lot of people.

A gripping story that kept on the edge till the end. It's not one for the faint of heart as it's quite detailed, gorey, and the killer is very cruel.
That said it's a well written thriller, I was glad to catch up with the characters and the solid plot kept me turning pages.
Highly recommended.
