Very intersting, a complex magical system simplified and available. I learn a lot of new things and I think it's an excellent book.
Recommended.

Stross can't write a bad or boring book: this one is excellent and gripping.
Great storytelling and world building, excellent character development.
As it's the second in a series it's better read them in order.
Highly recommended.

I loved other books by Adrienne Young but I wasn't a huge fan of this one.
It's an easy and entertaining read but I found the character a not very likeable.
The world building and the plot are interesting.

I love book set in a libraries and I love books that talks about ancient or rare books.
This book was right for me: a well written, riveting and fascinating book that mixes mystery and rare books.
The author is talented, the plot is well developed, the mystery part is solid.
I liked the characters and found them fleshed out.
Highly recommended.

There are two ways you can review this book: one is very short and to the point, the other one a bit verbose but this is a blogtour and we must be a bit verbose.
The first reviews is the following: READ IT! It's one of those book you start and won't put down, highly entertaining and gripping.
No marketing buzz, I mean it as I love this series and read this book in one setting.
The second one is a bit more articulate and there are more words.
I requested the arc of the first instalment following my gut feeling, something told it was going to be an exciting read. It was an exciting read, loved it.
I requested this arc hoping it was up to the previous story and it was even better.
It's a riveting and highly entertaining mix of police procedurale and thriller with some folk horror in the mix. There's a mythical monster that could be real or a legend, there's a lot of unidentified corpse, and there's a creepy and fascinating forest.
I assume that S.A. Dunphy works for VisitIreland as the description of the forest made me wish I could visit this great place which is full of mystery, history and life.
Jessie, Seamus, Terri, and Dawn are great characters and the strength of the team is what makes them solve cases and survive
I like to learn something about the Travellers and liked how they are represented as human being with virtues and defects.
The plot is full of twists and I couldn't guess what was going to happen. The solution surprised me and was satisfying.
I can't wait to read the next story, this one is highly recommended.

I think this is an excellent book for beginners and a useful reference guide if you are more experienced.
It's clear, full of useful information, graphically beautiful.
Highly recommended.

It's a fun and entertaining story, a long novella that made me laugh. The characters and the world building are well done, the mystery was a bit rushed.
I expected it's the first in a series and there will be more to come.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I love Hester Fox's novels as they're always an excellent mix of paranormal, gothic, and historical fiction. This one was no exception and it kept me turning pages as it's riveting and gripping.
Margaret and Augusta are two fascinating women.
Margaret is the wild girl who defies conventions and develops powers that are quite darks, she's an outcast and someone who's condemned to a sort of damnatio memoriae.
Augusta is a contemporary woman who faces realistic issues and I liked how her part helped me to understand how a museum works.
The two POVs are fascinating and I liked how they were never confusing and work well together.
I can't wait to read another story by this author, this one is highly recommended.

This is a very interesting and informative history books as it talks about textiles and their impact on human history and the current world.
We are used to think about hunters and gatherers but there's a moment when they started to wear cloth and weave.
The book is divided into chapters, one for each of the main textiles and it also analyses the impact on on our current economy and ethics.
Highly recommended.

This is a riveting and highly informative book that kept me turning pages as I was fascinated by the history behind fairy tales and the people who wrote them.
It made me travel in time and in space and I think that the author did a terrific job in researching and writing this book.
As he's an excellent storyteller I couldn't put it down.
Highly recommended.
