reflective fast-paced

This is what was once called speculative fiction, a sort of thought provoking sci-fi or dystopia.
There's a dystopia background and there's a lot about memories, living, and surviving.
The author did an excellent job in making me feel the emotions of the characters including the claustrophobia and nostalgia of past experiences.
Great storytelling, plot and character development.
Highly recommended.

informative

A fascinating book that made me learn something new about USA history. There's a political killing but also the story of an utopic community so different from the morality of those times.
It's an entertaining read, a well written and informative book.
Highly recommended.

I fell in love with the gorgeous cover and then I fell in love with the atmospheric and riveting story.
A well plotted and engaging historical fiction with elements of mythology.
The characters are well developed even if not always likeable. Dora is interesting and strong.
Good storytelling, fascinating atmosphere.
Highly recommended.

Not bad if you want something that do not require any thinking. Charachters are silohuettes, love conquer all, carreer is bad family is good.

Sort of repent and convert romantic novel
