Cute collection of stories! I liked it more than the trilogy... but maybe because I like seeing into Cardan’s head more than Jude’s.

Oh my goodness! I’m now a die hard TJ Klune fan! This is only the 2nd book I’ve read from him but I loved them both so much! This story had the perfect mix of sci-fi, love, mystery and fun! I don’t know how to express how good I felt while reading this. I was supposed to read just a few chapters a day with bookclub, but I just couldn’t stop!

There was a good amount of new characters in this one and I liked them. I am glad she finally fessed up to her mom, that was overdue! There seemed to be more action and there was more than one POV which was different but I liked it.

3.5 stars. It’s has a slow build up... then it opened up into a crazy, dark, grossly imaginative story. I’m not sure how I feel about it as a whole quote yet. It was so weird but in a good fantastical way. I’m not sure if I’d recommend it to many, unless someone enjoys very dark, odd, slow build and creepy stories. There were some grotesque images as well, so the reader needs to be able to handle that.

This was really good! I got sucked into the world, the story, and finding out about the MC. I love that Emika wasn’t a pushover lead female and that she could take care of herself. The twist at the end (reveal of Zero) wasn’t a surprise to me-but I was happy about it. I look forward to the next book.

This was a very sweet story. I love the happy ending and the fact that it was “easy” path to that end bit was realistic. I also feel that I learned! I learned about gender identity and how confusing it can be for the people involved. I really liked this book.

Wow... I was not expecting this book to be this good. Usually YA books are somewhat predictable and the endings come nicely tied up... not this one! The way Jane’s thoughts and experiences are written were so good that I felt them too. It’s not easy expressing the confusion and weird ways things like this are experienced but with this book, I understood it. And that ending was mind blowing and extremely unexpected. I expected a resolution that didn’t happen... and now I’ll wonder what came next but I’ll never know.

I’m not really sure why I didn’t connect with this book. It was a sweet story about friendship and the hardships women faced in this time. It was a good story and written well.

super cute and quirky. I highly recommend! Stella and Michael and intricate and interesting characters. the writing style was fun and easy to read.

While this was not a bad book, it was not for me. Sadie Robertson has some words to share that seem wise beyond her years, and yet they are given for people around Sadie's age. I'm old enough to be her Mom, so this book felt a little too juvenile for me. I would not recommend this book to anyone older than 30... unless they were still living as if they were in their early 20's. BUT... that is just a personal opinion.
