I just finished listening to this audiobook, narrated by the author, himself! He gave a few thoughts before and after reading the story. It was definitely a well written story-and one that can really make you think and wonder about the behavior of boys stranded on an island with no adults or rules. I did enjoy the story, although it’s not necessarily a story that is pleasant or enjoyable.

satisfying conclusion. different povs was nice to understand things.

Each of the books in the Green Creek series is its own story. I enjoyed hearing this story through Robbie and getting to know him better. He was way more complex than I gave him credit for. This story was driving more focused on the character than the plot-and it was wonderful.

This was a sweet story about a young girl and her best friend who is not young at all. It was a bit boring-but only because it’s a children’s novel and I am not a child.
adventurous emotional fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix

This story kept running through my mind when I wasn’t reading it. I listened to the Graphic Audio version and it was wonderful! I didn’t expect the 2nd book in this trilogy to be as good as it was! The emotions felt real and the storyline didn’t get too confusing for me.

Super cute, cozy fantasy book that i enjoyed. I listened to the audio. Even though the MC started off a little rude and stand-offish, she softens as the story goes on. I enjoyed the magic and the mix of characters/beings. This was not a page-turner but it was sweet and I enjoyed it very much.

This book was so much more than I expected. It was full of imagery that made me gasp and cringe! The boys were disturbed in the best ways and that ending made me think and wonder… I will read anything and everything CG Drews writes.
adventurous

This was good and even though I guessed at a few things, I was still a little surprised at the end. I liked the writing and narration and now I’m curious enough to want to continue to the next book!
