It was pretty good, but I don’t normally read these sort of easy thrillers so I was craving a bit more depth which just isn’t this genre. Interesting twists and turns

Maybe I’m just not meant to read fantasy books? Or maybe just not on audiobook. People do love it so maybe I’ll try it again later in print

Bored
dark mysterious tense

I didn’t really expect anything as I kind of chose the book based on liking the audiobook narrator’s voice and super briefly checking the synopsis. Loved the ending!

Really good, fun adventure! Audiobook narrator was absolutely fantastic ❤️ Loved the nerdy bits and emotional bits were so real.

Wanted something just a little bit more in the deep theme department but was excellent and would recommend!!

I thought it was really fun, and loved that the characters weren’t just all boring white Americans

Really interesting start, but a very different book from The Chrysalids which was unexpected. I think I finished about chapter 5/6 and then read a summary and wasn’t compelled to finish. Also not a big fan of the audio performance unfortunately. Will try again at some other point though!

Not the right mood

Again, forgot to review at the time. I was most worried about this one since I remember the clock arena vividly (I thought it was so clever when I was reading the books), but I actually really enjoyed so much more of the story
