Bah.
Just a compilation of free recipes found on the net, many similar to other recipes found in the book. Very few are even holiday recipes, and none have photos. Who publishes a cookbook without photos?

It's awful. Badly written, condescending, historically inaccurate in places. Spent 100 pages talking about Chaffee's childhood and barely mentions his astronaut training. No mention at all of the major problems wrong with the shuttle.
I greatly enjoyed Irene’s earlier two books and fully expected to like this one.
However, clearly the book wasn’t edited well or at all. The book is overly repetitive - both within the book itself and to her earlier books. She’s all over the place, you can’t tell what year she’s talking about and doesn’t give any references to help you figure it out.
Sadly, this book just seems to be a way to make money, without offering any real substance. I applaud Irene trying to support herself; a book talking about her current life would have been nice.
There are multiple typos and the formatting is awful - often just one word on a page or line. I suspect it was automatically converted to kindle format and no one bothered to check how well it worked.

Very short, too brief
Overall disappointing. Book was very short- more a short story. Very poorly edited, and lacked a lot of detail. Felt like a school paper and impersonal.

I couldn’t even attempt to finish this one. Another poorly written, obviously not edited 100 page book by an ‘author’ who couldn’t even bother to capitalize anyone’s name. Holy run on sentences, Batman,
A poorly edited, typo filled picture book
I’m glad I got this through Amazon KU because I would’ve been upset to pay for it.
The book is a little over 100 pages and it’s filled with Wikipedia knowledge and photos that look like they were screenshot off a YouTube video. I’d like to know if the author received permission to use any of the photos? He directly quoted people from the same documentary I watched- did he get permission from them, either?
I try very hard to write something positive in every review I write, but I can’t come up with anything.

I've been reading some romance lately - definitely not my normal thing, and I still don't care for books where romance is the main plot, that's for sure. I was expecting this one to be more paranormal & lot less romance, and it's probably 50-50, so too much romance for me.
I was expecting the book to be more YA as well, because the title of the book is BOY meets witch. Well, there are no boys in this story, so the title really, really bugs me. Yes, you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover OR it's title, and though I like the cover, I really hate the inaccuracy of the title.
Other thoughts: the book follows the standard paranormal plot, too much so. It's a fast read, luckily, but there's not any substance whatsoever for the first half of the book, and I was honestly pretty bored. If I was just reading this on my own or reviewing for just the author, I would have quit by 20% in because nothing was happening, and the cat demon thing was just creeping me out/bothering me way too much. I'm a cat person & had big issues thinking of a cat as a demon (though my cat is definitely a demon cat at times!!). Since I was reading the book for a book tour, I felt I had to read the entire book & not give up so soon.
The book definitely picks up and gets more interesting, and there are some interesting angel and demon conversations that weren't expected in this type of light, quick read (that added meat to the book, which is definitely needed) and I definitely ended up enjoying it more than I was expecting. I'm honestly not sure if I'll continue reading the series, however- the pacing was just too slow for me, even after it got going, and there wasn't as much world building as I like. It was really hard to rate this one, because there were a lot of things I didn't like / didn't enjoy, but there was just something about the book that I did like (clear as mud, right?)

I read this on my kindle, so I couldn't see the videos, but this was a great, quick history of the space shuttle. I'm a space nut, so I can't say I really learned anything new, but it was worth the price - free!
