Another great book to add to my NZ antiracist reading list. A great introduction to the concept of decolonisation for anyone wanting a place to begin, as well and resources on where to start and where to go next.

Whilst it was wonderful to see some really great aromantic/asexuel rep and the story was all around a great sequel, there was an uncomfortable view of asian (and other) ethnicities that I just could not shake. Other reviewers have addressed this problem better than I can, but needless to say it soured the whole series for me.
