TW: Abuse, bullying, fatphobia
So nice to have a book be so welcoming and encouraging, rather than guilting you into a world of 'shoulds' and 'should nots' (or pushing you to buy xyz). Nature is for everyone, so screw gatekeepers! >:)

TW: death, abuse, mentions of rape and sexual assault, misogyny
Truly enjoyed this, having adult protagonist's in a strong world of high but realistic stakes. If you like Eda from Owl House and want a world similar, this is your book!

TW: misgendering, abuse, transphobia, bullying, forcibly being outed
Note: I am a trans, non binary person
The ending was incredibly triggering for me, and I had to take a bit to recover. Please make sure you are in a safe heads pace for reading this one.
You never owe anyone coming out, and you never have any right to force someone out of the closet just because you think they'll be 'happier' or will thank you later.

For forced outing and flippant way the Guilty character reacts to doing such honestly in haunted me the whole time I read this. The rest of the volume had ups and downs and great moments, but I was personally just too triggered by this event that overshadowed the beginning and never felt it was truly resolved.

TW: death, murder, racism, rape, assault, police neglect and brutality, systemic racism, suicide, suicide ideation, underage drinking
An utterly heartbreaking and important book covering the racism and systemic oppression and murder faced by first nations people in Canada. Everyone should read this, no matter where you are from.

TW: parental abandonment, Dr suggesting 'corrective' surgery, death of a loved one, blood
The intersex rep? Amazing! A fun middle grade adventure about two very different girls working together to learn each others strengths, heal, and break new ground in mastering magic.

TW: death, blood, mentions of near decapitation, Christian fundamentalist religious trauma, suicide ideation, gaslighting
Not my favourite of the author's books, could have easily been shorter and had utalised the Catch a Killer event for more than an excuse to gather the characters. However it was still worth the read and I had fun with it.
