I've rated it 3 stars for the story itself however the audio version is incredibly performed and makes it far more enjoyable.
The plot is a little convoluted and amateurish, however put in the context of how it came to be it makes sense. The characters have a Mary-Sue fan fictiony feel to them at times, but on the whole it's a fun piece of fantasy adventure in a world that's easy to sink in to. I'm sure I'll get the next volume and enjoy many hours of escapism.

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of letters. It is was so innocent and humorous spanning such a length of time. I don't think I can fully explain how uplifting and happy I found this book.
As nice as the idea is, the book is incredibly repetitive, could easily have been a single chapter.
I listened to this as an audiobook and as with her other books, this was extremely listenable. It seemed less structured and a bit more all over the place than some others but enjoyable, reassuring and inspiring. I don't always agree theologically with everything she says or lives but that didn't significantly detract from my enjoyment of the book.
Great fun
Two of my favourite things, time loops and pride and prejudice. Well written, a little out of character at times, but mostly just good fun.
