I have decided to give this book the full 5 stars which I don't do often. It may not be the most original, but there were so many moments I thoroughly enjoyed and this is the first novel that has made me laugh, out loud, in public, repeatedly, in as long as I can remember. The humour just so perfectly aligned with mine with the exception of it being a little more crudely/bluntly expressed in places than I would normally appreciate.

Plus it sent me to a place full of 2 of my favourite things, veg garden and art.

I listen to these as audio books with a great narrator and thoroughly enjoy them for their humour and over the top characters. I can see how if you stuck with them and read them from the start, in order, you may get frustrated or bored with the lack of character development. However as I've been listening to them in no particular order and not that often, I can just enjoy each one for itself.
