This was very intriguing. It is interesting to read about things through different perspective, specifically queer perspectives. I wish they would teach more queer history in schools and that it was more easily accessible. There are a lot of things in here that I didn’t know about or would have thought about since it isn’t considered mainstream.

I still don’t like Jacob and I think he is a freak, but the New Moon book is a lot better than I thought it would be. It isn’t as Jake heavy as I thought and it does show a good portion of the time before he became Jacob and a loser. I had a good time and the books are slaying so far.

This was a cute and short read. The comics throughout were just fun little short stories and quirks of being a bookworm. Very fun.

This was a good read. It felt very realistic to the time frame. It talks about the secrets people had to keep in order to stay safe. I think it was very well written and the plot was very engaging.

I love this book and the movie. It is so good and does an amazing job discussing mental illness, grief, and coming of age. It is so well written and the plot is very engaging. I think the ending is devastating and I loved the story in between.

I have mixed feelings on this book. That is the point of the book to talk about the complex feelings on parental relationships, both with her mother and father. I kept going back and forth between enjoying it and disliking it.

I love Matilda. It is so good and I loved it as a kid too. It was fun to reread a book from when I was a kid. Also, Ms. Honey is a lesbian and I will not take any criticism.

Very well written and does a really good job talking about how mental illness affects individuals and entire families. It was interesting to read about how mental illness awareness has changed over time and how people would treat it in the past. The author did a good job showing the intricacies of relationships between people with mental illness.

This is so good and well written. It does start off slow, but when it picks up, you get really invested really fast. Sometimes, the choices and actions that Devon and Chi make get really frustrating, but with what they are going through, their decisions start to make sense as people just struggling to make it through. I think the reveal, although you can tell the general ideas of where the author is going, is crazy and was not what I expected.  The foreshadowing was done enough that the reveal made sense but that you didn’t figure it out until the reveal.

This was so good. I was very invested and the author did an amazing job talking about grief especially at a young age. I think it really showed the intricacies and difficulty in coming out and accepting who you are. I highly recommend.
