Hilarious and fun

When I started the first book, I felt like it was as if Terry Pratchett had decided to write romcom fantasy, instead of satirical fantasy - and I loved it.
My opinion has evolved. This is something of it's own, something unique, and truly fantastic. Pratchett fans will certainly still enjoy this, but it isn't trying to be Pratchett-but-romance. It's wonderful without needing to be compared to anyone else and I'm absolutely looking forward to reading the third book.

Wow! So hot! Every moment between Arlo and Clementine is written just right, the tension and spice is all timed perfectly. Very well done!

Delightful and fun!

Light on the romance and heavier on the friendships and character development, this was a cozy fantasy that was all sorts of sweet & savory! Left me feeling warm and cozy and very satisfied. Adored the inclusion of the recipes at the end!

Wild ride!

Wow, so many twists and turns - too many in some points made it a little confusing. But I'm glad I didn't stop because once things started falling into place the wild ride was worth it. Looking forward to the follow up, cause that was a crazy cliffhanger!

Adorable and sweet, with a few bumps in the tale to make you cry.
Well worth picking up and staying up too late to read into the wee hours of the morning.
