While overall well written, I just couldn't connect with the characters enough to finish.
More than I expected.
I wasn't sure what to expect going into this. Stars and spaceships and aliens, sure. But I wasn't sure how all that translated when applied to a romance story.
I was pleasantly surprised, honestly. There were a few (good) surprises, which I should have expected, and over all it was a short, fun read.

Well thought out, characters you connect with and so much blood, sex and adventure you'll be satisfied for weeks. Finished this book in two sittings, and the only reason I paused was because it was 3am and I needed sleep. I need more pirate romance, please & thank you!

I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Nanny for the Neighbours or Faking With Benefits, but it was certainly just as well written.
While I didn't connect with Briar, I do appreciate her personality and determination. The romance world needs more women like her!

Omg, such a great read - bawling my eyes out multiple times reading this!! I adore all the characters so much! Topics of infertility and parenting definitely hit me hard - but it was well worth the read!

I've had the pleasure of reading almost every version of Between the Vines, and loved it every time. I wish Alpine Ride was a real place, and every time I read it I wish I had a plate of peanut brittle to nibble on while I feel all soft and cozy reading about Bennett and Camilla.
