Lovely and thoughtful, this picture book is a wonderful introduction to Kahlo, as well as being a great tool in teaching kids about how all kinds of relationships can be special and important, even those we have with our pets!

Beautiful prose, but not enough happens. Abandoned.

DNF at 65%. This story didn't flow for me. I found myself invested in one aspect of the world and then suddenly I'm pulled elsewhere. It felt disjointed, and I wanted the magic of this world to be more flushed out and realized.

Adorable and very interactive. I'll be using my best worst French accent when I read it during storytime.
