This was such an enjoyable story.  I mean, it was dark at times and not everything was happy happy, but based on the cover no one was expecting that.  I liked this for the discussions around small town biases and how things can get blown out of proportion or believed by lots of people so they become truth.  I won't go into plot details because that will include spoilers, so I'll just say that it was worth the read and I'm glad I picked it up.

This far into this series, I don't know what else to say other than horrible crimes happen and Eve and the team are on the case.  I have such weird feelings about this whole series because these crimes are just disgustingly awful and I'm over here feeling wonderful about the whole things because I'm with Eve, Rourke, Peabody, and all the rest! :)  It's a weird way to feel about a crime procedural, but it feels like coming home!

I love the characters in this series.  I dislike that we continue to meet new people every time.  It seems like it doesn't fit with what I've read before, so not really like a series at all.  We have so many points of views and they jump around a little too quickly for me.  I really like the writing and I will definitely continue in this series.

Other than everyone having 7 different names, making it hard to remember who is who, this was so good.  I loved the magic system and the created world.  I can’t wait for the next book.

This was so good.  Wonderful epic fantasy beginning.  I can’t wait to read more and see what’s going to happen in the next one.

Not that I needed a new series, but I did want more graphic novels, so here we are.  I like that we switch around in this one and it didn't just follow Hades or Persephone.  It was deeper than I was expecting and also moved slower than I thought it would. Meaning, I thought we would get the whole story of H&P in this one and then move on for the next one, but that doesn't seem to be the case, so I'll be happily moving on to volume 2.

I liked being more with the family in the previous volume, but this one was great to spend so much time with Anya.  I also love that we take something so bland as adopting a dog and it becomes a huge mission for world peace! :)

I just had no idea how this would be wrapped up after the way book one finished.  I love that we still had new characters introduced in this one and all of the planning and what made me feel like DnD dungeon crawls!! :)  I still love the character of Galaxy Stern and I would definitely read more books about her and the others continuing to deal with paranormal issues.  Just loved it!

Not going too in-depth because of spoilers, however, the same amazing characters and the same storytelling from book 1 is all here, so if you loved the first one, you'll love the second one.  I liked this one even more (if that's possible) because I already knew who the characters were.

This is my first Tigner book and I really enjoyed it. I loved the thought experiment that we're presented with at the beginning and how the characters handled the decision. I can't go into it too much, but this has plenty of mystery as well as plenty of intrigue and I enjoyed it a lot. I'll definitely be reading more from this author.
