I devoured this book. I was drawn in during the first part of the book, but just as I was feeling a bit disappointed about reading another romance novel, there was a fun murder mystery twist that really got me hooked. Jennifer Weiner’s writing is so fun and easily digestible.

Really enjoyed listening to this in the audio book form. Tran is a wonderful story-teller. The story opened my eyes to his immigration experience, racism, relationships. An enjoyable and educational read.

What a smart, quick and fun story! I typically struggle with the romance genre, but Kwana Jackson hit my sweet spots of not too cheesy and incorporating the logistics of owning a hobby-type store to make the perfect novel and palate cleanser!
