this book had me smiling and so happy while reading! this reimagined modern take on the Orpheus & Eurydice myth was amazing and i loved how Thanatos and Charon are heavily involved as well. Thanatos was my favorite character from book 1 and i was so happy to hear he was the MC for book 2 and getting his own HEA. this series has amazing communication between the characters and the emotional growth of everyone had me dying to finish this book and beyond excited to see where this series goes! (The epilogue?! foreshadowing for sure 😬)

validating and encouraging. if you’re able to listen to the audiobook version i highly recommend (about 3hrs long) - KC has a great voice and it was very comforting and easy to listen to. 

if you are neurodivergent or have shame surrounding care tasks or deal with executive dysfunction this is a quick amazing read. upset i didn’t read this earlier!

it feels almost CRIMINAL how i started 2024 off with a 5⭐️ read and i’ll be comparing every book to this!

i listened to this on audio and if you can i HIGHLY recommend it!! (plus joe arden’s voice?! 🥵😮‍💨) 

please PLEASE read this but only after reading the triggers and content warnings! it’s a romcom but it’s a DARK and GORY romcom and i LOVED EVERY SECOND
