Schneider did a fantastic job of making this both funny and serious in a similar way to John Green's novels.
The Beginning Of Everything is easily in my top 10 favorite books. I was hooked and did not put it down until I finished it. Schneider created relatable characters, an unusual story with pop culture references to Dr. Who, Harry Potter, apps that came and went in their time of popularity (i.e. Angry Birds), the nostalgia that the millennial generation has over certain snacks and games, and even Seinfeld's made-up holiday of Festivus.
Ezra was an excellent narrator with an interesting story, a cunning wit, and an ability to draw you to him like the mesmerizing person he is. Ezra and Cassidy were an electrifying pair, who both showed that everyone has a moment that breaks them, and that every person enters your life for a reason.

I highly recommend this book!

Moonglass is Kirby's debut novel, and let me say: WELCOME TO THE LITERARY WORLD!
It was insightful and meaningful and just captivating in a way that I did not expect.
