When I saw that this was a teen titans book I was expecting a little bit of action but there wasn't really any. It was a pretty ok coming of age story. Also Raven doesn't really feel like raven. Feels very Wednesday Adams on Netflix.

Got to say I am pretty disappointed in this book. It is far to short. Just as the actual romance and drama starts the book ends. This needs a vol 2. I was not fond of how the one of the main character kept calling the other one senpai to the point where I forgot her actual name was. I get that it is a thing, but it was way too much. Like these are both adults, make them a bit more grown up. If you took out the few work scenes it would just be about high schoolers.

The books parallels between the caste system of the United States and that of other countries was very insightful. The author presents a compelling argument for the a caste system in the United States, and explains how it affects every aspect of our society. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to better understand the root causes of inequality and racism in our country.

This book is a must read for anyone interested in the ways in the ways that tech can be used as a tool for  liberation or oppression. The inclusion of how racism can negative impact someone's health was an eye opener.

I loved getting to read this book early huge thank you to the author for that.
I loved the name stealing aspect of the fae. In terms of myth accuracy this is the one of best that I have seen in this genre in a long time. The romance is cute and not what I expected. The main character did grow on me quite a bit.
