One of the things I enjoy the most of these books is the follow-up at the end. We basically get little check-ins on the various characters we've met that may or may not continue to appear and it's a nice way to include little tidbits about people.
I think this was my first time reading this one. And I'm not sure how I feel about Septimus's treatment of Jim Knee, but overall it was another fantastic book.
Oh wow. This was such a fantastic conclusion. And I know I mentioned this before, but I love the last bit of each book that gives you a bit of info about various characters and what happened when they went off page. This one is definitely more epilogue, though. Either way, love love love!!
Five stars... Why, you ask? Because it entertained me, was a quick read, and will probably hit my "to read" pile again in the future.
Robert Langdon is intelligent, knowledgeable about lots of various convenient tidbits of information, and apparently attractive enough that younger women swoon over him and his voice. However, in spite of the convenience of his knowledge, the book is fascinating because of the knowledge. I don't know if any of this stuff is true or historically accurate or not, but this is a fiction book and it makes a great story!

Fascinating topic, as always. As an atheist, I'm pleased with how atheists were presented considering that I often see us down add the bad guys with no moral compass and whatnot. I did figure out one of the bigger twists pretty quickly, but it was still interesting enough when the reveal happened that I wasn't disappointed. One thing that did disappoint me though was that he entirely forgot the big issue from the last book. Why couldn't she just be sterile because of that? Or why couldn't the prince be sterile?! Or both, for giggles.
Overall, if you're a fan of the earlier books, you'll love this. If not, well... you'll probably not like it.
