I don't care that it was written in a different time. Calling someone an "ideal slave" is garbage...
But for one thing Old Bugs would have been an ideal slave to the establishment—and that one thing was his conduct when young men were introduced for their first drink.
This was every bit as great as I had hoped! It's amazing as a standalone book, but I'm really hoping it's a series. (Duology would be fine!)
Happy fluff - just what I wanted. It was especially good for reading while sick, but I'm sure I would have enjoyed it regardless.
My best friend's favorite Christmas book as a kid, so naturally I had to read her copy of it! It's so cute!!
