I've been waiting for anything "Handful of Dust" related from Jeffrey Ford for a while and this definitely delivered! Yes, there were a couple spots (I think literally only two) that slipped through the editing process, but not only was it easy to read through those couple spots, the story is so good that you don't even really notice them!

Now I'm just waiting on the novel... o_O

We have Flame the Lion Prince again and I'm really enjoying the difference in class for the human characters this time. It's not just a bunch of rich or well-off families, which is probably easiest to write because then money isn't an issue. Jemma rescues Flame, but then money is immediately a potential block because how will they afford his food?
