So there were legit a few spots that freaked me out (I don't like horror and ghost stories), but this story was so good!! I loved it!

This book was delightful and fascinating. I'm always amazed at the mythological stories different cultures have. They're so different and so similar all at once.

This one was different from the others from the Rick Riordan Presents imprint and it's awesome!!

The background world is just delightful. I especially loved the robots and Gabi's family.

I'm looking forward to the next book.

Okay, I expected the very absolute ending somewhat. But how we got there... I didn't expect that at all and I adored every bit of it!!

So freaking good. I loved every part of this book and can't wait to read the next one!!

This is at least as good as, if not better than, Dragon Pearl and I really hope there are more to come in this series.

I've been slowly making my way through this book because I didn't want to rush through it. But I absolutely adored it! I can't wait for another one.

I love these books so much. This last book, though... This was more than we deserved and everything we needed. I wish I had the ability to buy classroom copies for every school in my state.

I live in Louisiana, where this book starts out. New Orleans is filled with so much history, and most of it is whitewashed. Seeing Tristan peel back the layers of history is phenomenal. And not just in NOLA. Tristan gets/gives history lessons throughout the book and in various places. History that is buried and hidden and deliberately ignored is unearthed and shared by this phenomenal book.

I'm already planning to reread the entirety of the series. It never disappoints me and regularly astounds me with how wonderful it is.

(Oh, fun fact, Gum Baby hints at some adventure that she won't explain - it's the short story included in The Cursed Carnival.)

There is just so much good to say about this book but I wouldn't be able to do it without spoilers!! Ugh! But seriously, read this. It's marvelous and I love it and now I'm stuck waiting until October for the next one!!!
