A cute kids' spy book. Some of the wording is definitely dated. I didn't realize how old the book was (about a decade) when I picked it up and was surprised by the use of the r-slur. I was pleased that it was almost immediately followed up by a "you can't say that" chastisement, but it was a bit jarring.

Ugh. I'm not opposed to good cliffhangers. The king that leave some things unfinished but still gives a good ending to the current story arc, but this one... This is a terrible cliffhanger.

I feel as though the author actually wanted to write a travel book, couldn't get the funding, and so wrote this series instead. Which is great, but weird.

This was more of the same thing as the previous books. I know they're written for kids and repetition is common, but reusing almost entire conversations? Ugh.
