The romance almost felt less important than the big save the day plot, it's not a typical head over heels kind of story. Depending on your preferences, that could be either a good thing or a bad thing. I definitely appreciated having a solid plot. Looking forward to what I hope will be a series?

Really good sex ed book! Very informative and practical. I'd say this one is for teens who are starting to think about having sex, not necessarily for the younger crowd. Does include the usual anatomy diagrams that are present in sex ed books, but in cartoon form.

That was surprisingly advanced for a kid's book, in a good way. So many of them feel overly simple to the point of being cringe for older readers, but this one didn't. It was a great ghost story mystery with properly spooky vibes, but without being overly scary.

Audio isn't working for me. There are a lot of unfamiliar names and unfamiliar foreign political parties mentioned, and I need to be able to see the words.

I keep trying to love these books, and on paper they should be everything I love in a story. But I keep getting stuck at the halfway point. 🤷‍♀️
