I had a great time reading it, but it wasn't that different from all the other romance stories placed in XIX Europe
fast-paced
I don't know what "message" the book was intended to convey, because it didn't make any sense to me
1° nothing interesting happened, only at the end.
2° boring characters - it seems that the author wanted to criticize capitalist society, but there was almost no consistency in the dialogues or personalities
3° I didn't like the "love interest" - an asshole that the girl keeps calling "MY GAT. HOW I LOVE YOU" every 5 pages
4 ° there are several analogies with fairy tales to explain situations that didn't need to be explained
5 ° the end is AWFUL
I DO NOT RECOMMEND

It took me a little time to read cause the book is long, but despite that, the writting is amazing and the story builds such a beautiful relatioship betwen us and the caracters. I give the book 5 stars, it touched my heart deaply (and it made me cry like a baby).
I was so excited for reading this book, but something didn't hit. Maybe it was a mix of the writing, how simple is the story, me feeling bored while reading... idk
