Y’all this book was not what I was expecting, and that’s both the blurb and the cover’s fault. However, it turned out for the best. The multiple POVs were an added bonus and really allowed me to get fully immersed in the wide world the author created. Pleasantly surprised and very excited for the next one.

Love love love the Adventure Zone podcast with all my heart, so I’m not going to turn down a chance to get more of it, just in book form. I have no doubt it’s incredibly challenging to translate a massive campaign into a mere 200 pages or so and I think they achieved a book both TAZ fans and your average joe at a bookstore can enjoy. I would recommend the podcast first, but the book can also be read on its own (plus the next 4 books too).
