Emily Henry does it again!
I loved Daphne's internal monologue - she had me laughing out loud while also getting second hand embarrassment at times. Also Miles might be the perfect golden retriever MMC I've ever read.
The character development that you get to see play out between Daphne and Miles is amazing and makes me want to go to therapy again lol
This book - compared to all the second hand trauma I got from Happy Place - felt like a band aid to my heart.

I know this book was already over 500 pages, but you can’t just make me SOB for the last hundred pages then end it so abruptly!!! My brain and heart need more resolution than was given.

The spice:
- Absolutely incredible. Honestly thinking about it makes me want to give it 5 stars - the kitchen scene will live in my head rent free forever. I do wish there were more than the two “kinky” scenes though.

Side Characters/Plot:
- A chaotic HOA meeting? Fantastic
- The apartment complex? Hilarious
- Will just being a girls guy? We love him
- The parents? Lovely and Heartbreaking
- Coach Jensen? Always a favorite, but damn.. like I need a throwback book with his story.

Trauma:
- Thought it was well written, felt unresolved with Percy though. Especially given the brutality of the scene Elle put us through.

Shane and Diana:
- We love them, endlessly.
- Their bickering is a love language that should be recognized.
- I loved that they pushed each other out of their comfort zones in so many ways, and communicated well for the most part - but hey they’re 22
