Aggressively millennial editorial voice that made it hard to get through  

Felt more speculative than I would have liked. Didn’t find myself wanting to pick it up 

I don’t think I am the target market for this. 
The writing is not bad but it is falling a bit flat. I’m not sure I see the relevance of some of the pop culture references and it feels like the author was using them as a way of preventing focusing too much on her own life 

Was really slow and felt too similar to the first book
