Daughter of No Worlds

Carissa Broadbent

audiobook was questionable especially the accent they chose to give her

If you like Tate James or J Rose, you’ll probably like this.

I wouldn't recommend the audiobook, but that's the only thing I wasn't a big fan of. I really enjoyed the story.

I will say the twists were kind of predictable, but it would be very hard to have a book like this where they aren’t. The dynamics between her and the guys were great. I also loved how she had more people, even if we didn't see them much. I kind of wish this had been two separate books so it could have more detail because I really enjoyed it.

The only other thing that bugged me was the fact that one of the guys had a Scottish dad, so of course, he has a slight accent?

This was cute. I liked Luke and Catalina, they worked really well together and I loved their relationship. I loved how it developed. Luke was a great fictional man, his gifts and gestures made me so happy. Catalina was really great too, but more human. She had insecurities that we saw and felt while Luke was just nervous. I really liked her and I want a Luke.

Unfortunately, Aiden was the only side character I liked. Gaby was a pain in the ass, she had no boundaries and yes she did redeem herself a little but overall she still seemed selfish to me. And none of the others were really featured enough for me to have an opinion on them

I also think 200 pages is too long for a novella and this defiently felt too slow at points

I’m going to start by saying I enjoyed this. It was hot and cute, though not really that christmasy. I liked Margo and Finn, along with the side characters even though they weren’t featured massively they still made it great. It also had more plot than I expected.

All that said, it was a lot longer than it needed to be. I was expecting a short (100-150 page) novella with a lot of spice and a lot of christmas. It ended up being a short book (200 pages) that was more about running than christmas. By 50% I was kind of ready for it to wrap up. I just wanted a bit of confrontation/drama, and then I was good.

That’s the last thing, the confrontation. He’s dating his son’s ex, and yet the confrontation is so underwhelming?

Honestly, if this hadn’t been $5 I probably would have liked it more. Yes, it's on KU now, but not when I bought it, and I was impatient.

I really enjoyed this. At the start it was twisted games x princess diaries but by the end it was giving more mafia romance x action movie. It wasn’t entirely what I was expecting and I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the ending hadn’t been what it was.

It was very fun. And it did make me want to keep reading. I really liked the MCs. There was a couple points that bugged me, mostly just things that seemed very random and out of nowhere. That was really my main issue, some things seemed a bit disjointed.

Overall, it was very fun and cute. I enjoyed it (finished it in one day) even though I had a couple of issues with it. I still recommend it especially if you liked the twisted series by Ana Huang.

They both sucked. I had so many problems with it: the lack of boundaries, the refusal to communicate and not to mention the issues with how surrogacy was portrayed.

This was very cute but it took me a while to get into it. I think it was just moving a bit too slow for me but things were already happening, you know? It wasn’t a slow burn but it felt like it was trying to be. I did enjoy it, it was very cute
