Thank you to the author for the ARC.
I really enjoyed this. It’s just like Devyn’s other omegaverse books with scent matches, why choose, amazing men, an incredible fmc, heats, and of course an incredibly satisfying everyone gets what they deserve ending.
I really love F1 and I think this did a great job with both the F1 and the romance. I will admit when I first heard F1 omegaverse I was worried that it might be awful. But it really worked. It’s probably the best F1 romance I’ve read. A lot of others miss either the F1 or romance.
I also loved the social media messages but I really hate that they are accurate (seriously some F1 fans truely suck but some are fantastic). Them and the news stories really added to the book and the overall F1 feeling in it.
Overall, highly recommend!!!

I don’t know this one just isn’t working for me. I didn’t love the first one tbh, student x professor doesn’t do it for me but I did like the set up and the characters. I was hoping it would turn into an enemies to lovers or forbidden love type thing in this one. But it kind of felt more like they were dealing with every other plot line except the romance and the Hermes stuff.

I liked parts of this. It was fun and wacky like all of her books but it also felt unpolished. I think the cover caused some confusion. It’s MMF. But there’s only one guy on the cover. And the story kept getting interrupted by sex scenes. And don’t get me wrong I like sex in books but like them to make sense with the story.
The big issue with this was that there was a big plot overall plot and the sex scenes had been plopped in. It felt like a really abrupt shift that just didn’t work. There were a few other things I didn’t love, it was just generally kind of unpolished.

Show don’t tell but this was all tell tell tell. The parts that I read were a complete info dump. I don’t though after the basic stuff was out there it would be fine but it just kept going with the info dumping.
Normally I might have given this more of a go but I’m trying to clear out my KU reads.

This was really cute but it was also missing something. There was conflict but it was never really that serious. Every time the conflict was being resolved it was like “oh, guess it was nothing the whole time”.
I also went into this expecting a small town romance not a sports/celebrity/single dad romance. I only really looked at the cover and I haven’t read anything from her before. So I had different expectations and it took me a while to finish because of that but it was still good. It was cute and kind of relaxed but tense.
I will read more from Willow and I’m definitely continuing the series but it’s not my fav.

This sounded incredibly interesting, especially because I’ve recently begun reading memoirs. But it was just too short. It didn’t have enough to it. There really some interesting examples of memoirs but there aren’t really many points made. I was hoping for something about how memoirs can change there readers or what draws people to them. Just anything more than they are interesting and let writers explore their lives. But it didn’t really deliver that.

This was very cute and very fun but the ending was a little abrupt and felt a tad random. Its closed door, no violence (unless you count baby dragon chaos as violent but I wouldn’t).

This was incredible. I haven’t read anything by this author before but now I have to.
This follows 3 different women, Vera, Nancy and Salome. Vera is a young Mexican woman who by chance ends up getting the lead role in a new movie about the biblical character Salome. Nancy is a wannabe actress who auditioned for the lead role but was cast as an extra. She also has some dangerous connections. Salome was a minor character in a few biblical stories, said to be a princess, and was later rewritten by history as a femme fatale.
The three women are trying desperately to survive in a world not made for them. There is an under current of politics in all three stories. It sounds like it should be too much to wrap your head around but it’s not. It’s done incredibly well. It’s easy to follow, but still mysterious. In some ways you can see where things are going but in others you really can’t.
I did find the ending a little abrupt, and would have liked a little more. Maybe a couple of articles about what happened or something, just to make it feel more fleshed out.

I liked it but the pacing was a little weird towards the end. It felt like too much was resolved early on and then what was left was a bit anticlimactic. The rest of it was very cute, I love his interactions with her brother so much. the sugar free cupcakes were especially adorable. The whole celibacy thing was a bit out of nowhere but I actually liked it. I think I slightly preferred Collide but this one was still a lot of fun.
