A hard but necessary read. This is about the 2008 attacks on Gaza, not today but is still beyond relevant and exposes the corruption and blatant hatred behind Israel’s actions
Graphic: Child abuse, Child death, Genocide, Gun violence, Hate crime, Physical abuse, Racism, Torture, Violence, Police brutality, Islamophobia, Grief, Religious bigotry, Murder, Cultural appropriation, Colonisation, War
Just didn’t vibe with it. Kind of reminded me of an Emily Henry book crossed with a Hallmark movie which just isn’t for me
I’m not really vibing with the two mcs. It’s sitting at maybe 3 stars and I don’t really think it’s worth continuing. I might come back to it at some point.
Graphic: Trafficking, Kidnapping
Moderate: Violence, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Death of parent
There was something about the writing. Like there was an easy out for the fake marriage and he was too convincing in his reasoning being for land not her. I love Gennie but just couldn’t feel the chemistry of the others for most of the story

It was cute, as it should be with penpals to lovers and a secret celebrity. The only issue was that it was a little slow in places
Graphic: Sexual content, Stalking

I liked it, it was cute but honestly I didn’t love it. There was great world building, a nice romance, pretty good spice, an unsatisfying mystery and a weird wrap up.
I think this is a book that I could have loved if I was in the right mood and if it had a couple changes. For instance, Lilia. She is a cool character, she has a traveling tavern and a dragon. But she is also a complete pushover when it matters and literally goes out of her way to be nice to people who have been awful to her. Nice message but it bugged me that she didn’t get that in return.
Don’t take my negativity too seriously, this book got on the bad side of me because of a small part at the start and it was an uphill climb from there.

Somehow there was mormons and cheating in a dinosaur book. I didn’t think mormons believed in dinosaurs?
