Honestly, this was an awkward read with an ending that kind of made me mad.
I loved all her other books but this one just wasn’t for me. I can’t deal with second hand embarrassment which is why I had DNFed this before. I picked it back up because the audiobook was on sale and I saw loads of people say this was their favourite Lily Gold book. It was really uncomfortable at a lot of points. And the ending was incredibly disappointing.

I really loved the original series and I liked the first book in this one enough but this book was just not it.
It all moved way too fast. They had literally known each other for a few months, and all that was happening? Nope. And the ending felt completely rushed.
The public nature of certain things was also just not for me. None of it actually felt intimate.
And Finley didn’t seem like Finley for most of the book

I’m not sure if I liked it. Thats all I can say with out spoilers.
Evil twin??? Evil fucking Twin. Called Omen???? WHY?
Also Micah seems way to different in this one. He starts off the same but by the end he is not the same character at all. Not even the same as the flashbacks from the last book.
And Damien is bi now? Did I miss something?
I absolutely loved the start but it went off the rails at the end and not the way I like.
Okay, maybe I just didn’t like it. But I love this series and this just made me mad

I absolutely loved this. It might be my favourite of the series but I loved the other two so much that I can’t actually decide. Hayden was always going to be an amazing MMC, hes adorable and so hot (I’m currently jealous of all the FMCs in this series). Darcy is so cute, and I love how she is growing;as the others, b I didn’t relateut she' to her as much s still great. She’s a bit stiff and awkward but they are so good together.

It was fun and then it wasn’t and then it was again. The wasn’t was mostly because it pissed me off that certain characters seemed to massively change.
It wasn’t what I was expecting from cat turns into a tall, hot demon. It was more cute and small town witchy rather than tall, hot demony. Although he was hot and tall, just not morally grey or anything.
If you like the idea of cat turned hot ma, I highly recommend Shelter for a Shifter by Lauren Connolly. It’s also small town but has a bit more to it, if you know what I mean. It is book 4 in a series but you can read it as a standalone if you want.

I did end up enjoying this a lot. The start was great, the ending made me need the next one and the bonus scenes were fun. But the middle felt a little bit overwhelming, as I think a few too many storylines were shoved in.
I’m hoping the Knox, Brady and Gigi story will be developed more in the next book but from this one I also don’t care that much. It felt like a distraction from the other, especially because I’m not as invested in Gigu, even though she's great.
Overall, it was fun but not a must-read.

Genuinely awful. The main charcter is not lie other girls. She thinks shes a genius but she is completely oblivious and ignorant. The writing is not good. The plot is underdeveloped. I really should have dnfed.

Ok, I finished this a few days ago, but I needed time to be able to write a spoiler-free review.
It was so good. I loved the first one, but this one topped it, and not just because things got spicy. At the start (and for a lot of the book) Everest was my favourite, but now I can't decide who I like most.
The mystery is so good, and so is the spice. I have no idea who to trust, and nor does Luz.
The ending did make me screech a little, but luckily I was home alone so no one heard.
I need more people to read this series so I can talk about it more
