Not everyone knows the things that go on to oppress those less fortune or not alike by societal standards. This book does a fantastic job of showing conversion therapy camps and the horrors that they face when sent there. How abhorrent it is and their only means of escape being dark, brutal, and vicious. Busting at the seams with visceral fury. It’s fast-paced and packed with well written characters who show you the meaning behind the love they hold. This is such an informative yet love yielding story, please give it a try!

SO, this one things really start coming together from the first book! We see that our two mains (and loveysss) no longer hate each other so we can really focus on that sweet tension. I loved how she brought the other characters into this and really built a solid foundation in this fantasy world. I think it somehow might be better than the first one! I loved the little moments we were given when we’re shown it’s not going to be a piece of cake to overthrow a King. AND THE CLIFFHANGER. I died.

This was delectably dark, twisted, and full of gory metaphors. The author forced us to dive in and experience this ruinous carnage. It was super quick but most definitely stuck out! I’d love to read more in this form.

Informative, imaginative, and enjoyable! This book brings education about such a deep and well known topic to a rise with their fast paced yet fun way of writing. It never had me hoping for the end or forcing myself to finish. I truly enjoyed learning little bits I’d never heard and would have loved this in school. I think this is such a fantastic way to educate I hope this book ends up in libraries everywhere! The Mona Lisa being as famous as it is, it’s a rare sight to have something recapture that mystery and prose surrounding it.

You could most definitely start this book and dive in thinking it’s something else entirely. I was prepared for some gorgeous fantasy and while it certainly delivered, what I wasn’t prepared for was the science and deep scholarly vibes it gave off. Now I think this book is definitely best suited for a younger audience, so with that in mind, the easy and prepared story is better digested. I loved our characters development and I think this would be a wonderful introduction to this genre.

I think this was the perfect romantasy to fill a void left by others. It has quite a few refreshing takes that aren’t as popular right now and it made me enjoy it even more. While the middle of the book lagged off a bit slow I think the pacing in every other aspect really shined. The wolf-shifters, queer representation, world building, and political intrigue had me flipping through the pages ready to devour more. You should definitely give this one a try!

We’re swirled away with magic and wonder in this gloriously twisted tale. While I think the second half of the book muddled a bit of my thoughts with how much was pushed I do think it’s a fun and magical YA fantasy that’ll appeal to anyone just entering the range. PLUS if you’re looking for a more grownup version of the kids Alice in Wonderland this might scratch that itch!

This one astounded me in the most magical and thought provoking ways! If you’d like something resembling Sherlock Holmes but in a twisted dystopian society where the plants are more than just plants… give this a try! The mystery of this story was laid upon us so beautifully woven it leaves you guessing up to the very lasting second. I thought I had it pegged quite a few times. Fantastical world building with political intrigue wrapped into one, this mystery might gobble you up!
