Read it the second time with a buddy group and liked it even more. Only thing that bumped it down is that almost every story involves an affair. I really appreciated the writing, how each story stayed on its own, reflection into others lives , and the hypocrisy of religion. 

Stories :
Eula: 5 star. Loved this one . 
Not Daniel: 4.5. Even in the shortness in this one you can feel the grief 
Dear Soster: 4 stars
Peach Cobbler: 4.5 stars . Man I hate the mom in this one! 
Snowfall: 5 stars . This is the one I relate to the most . You could feel the love between the characters
How to make love to a physicist: 5 stars. 
Jael: 3.5 stars. The POV switches on this one is really hard to follow but man the ending in this one! 
Instructions for married husbands: 5 stars. Loved the structure of this one
When Eddie… 4.5 stars. This one also feels very relatable. Made me really think about some stuff. 

JRyan Stradal writes amazing books and especially has a strength of writing real, stong female characters which is amazing coming from a man. The layout of this book was very unique because each chapter was its own shot story and it was centered aound a specific food dish, but most of the stories had a common thead (Eva) throughout. 

Dont read this book on an empty stomach because OMG the way food is described is drool worthy. I really enjoyed all the characters, story lines and the writing style. My favorite chapter had to be the last one fo sure but Pat's bars chapter was suberb as well. I found myself grrowing bored on the 1-2 chapters that had  the male gaze but I bet that is saying more about me than the bool itself. 

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes contemporary fiction, enjoys reading stories that feel VERY real and relatable, enjoys food, and/or is looking for more fiction with stronger female representation. 

Beautifully done graphic novel with a great message. The panels came to life especially the dresses, it made me want a few of these dresses. 

A prince who likes to wear dresses sometimes, a talented undiscovered seamstress, and plenty of adventures and heart. 

I didn’t finish it in time before it went back to the library. I think I wasn’t in the right head space to read this type of book.

Trevor Noah is very funny and it is also amazing/insane to see the things he experienced in his life. I highly recommend this on audio since he narrates it so you get an even deeper connection and POV. Trevor Noah is someone I will continue to admire and he is not only funny but intelligent and inspiring. Great memoir. 

 page turning !! Loved this book, was soo full of action and twists and turns. There were times that I would want to stop everything going on in my day just to read this book... Fine there were times that I stopped working in order to read this book more.

Scary insight into how life can get if we allow AI too much autonomy and also insight onto how different humans deal wtih different level of power. There were a few parts that were a bit more drawn out than i would like but overall soo good and I could never guess where it was going. 

It always makes me happy when a book's premise is great and it DELIVERS! If you are looking for a science fiction thriller with good character development, this is the book for you!
