I has high hopes for this one because I love graphic memoirs and insight into lives that I don’t know. This art style anf the way the text was done was too confusing and messy for me to follow. What I did understand I enjoyed but there were times that I was lost . I did appreciate the way that this memoir showed how hard it is to be disabled whether permentantly or temporarily 

This book is cute and sweet and a book that would be good to hand to your 8-11 year olds especially highlighting having immigrant parents, dealing with racism, fitting in and how to stand up to your friends. 

However, as an adult who enjoys middle grade books this one read a bit too young to me for adults so if you’re looking for middle grade books I would skip this one. It read too slow and below the level I want to be reading at thus it bored me and I skimmed a lot of it just to get through it. 

Overall it’s well written for the age it is designed for . 

Still gathering my thoughts on this but WOW a very unique and amazing book. The violin felt like it’s own charaxter. I could feel Rays despair over his violin, his love for music and I wanted to punch a lot of people for him. I felt this book flowed like a beautiful violin piece , times where it went fast and hit super hard and other times where it went slower and allowed you to sit within the story. 

I LOVED THIS BOOK. 

Loved this one! Just like I loved the rest in this series. Margot and liv may be my favorite couple though. Bellefleur writes amazing characters with witty banter snd sexy sexy scenes. I will never tire of reading her amazing books!! 

 Buddy read this with alex Cox. Did it on audio. If I wasn’t buddy reading it I would have DNFed it . This book had limited action when  I expected it to have more . A lot of it was way more description. When there was action it was good but most of it I found boring and overly detailed. 

This was a good Karen McManus book with good twists. I did like the character dynamics, the mystery and going back fo the Past and also other viewpoints It was well written but her books are becoming formulaic for me. If the book moved faster I would have rated it higher. I enjoyed the ending and the fact that was a love story woven in 

Cute romance with some depth and diversity. Fake dating, forced proximity, sexy. I love love Alexa and I want to be her best friend. I was whatever about drew but the ending redeemed him. Jasmine Guillory writes a fun love story and has the ability to put deeper elements in it. Also Jasmine knows how to write a spicy but not too spicy scenes and she writes about food too, so  delicious!!!  I also loved the setting of this one. I did knock it down a bit bc drew oissed me off with his jealousy and temper .
