This book is not the right thing for me right now and I don’t know if it will ever be. The formatting, writing style , plot , and just overall pacing is too out there for me now . I don’t know if I’m just afraid of something different or if it’s not my style. I don’t like things to be sooo ambiguous and out there.
Gave up. Not for me

This book grabbed me from the get go and I enjoy it on audio. The opening chapter is sooo riveting and really grabs you bc it’s interesting to understand how someone can get conned and also hearing the lifestyle they loved. There are times however this dragged bc of too much detail and repetivebess of the same stuff. The texts while interesting to hear were very repetitive and I was getting frustrated with Rachel that she was so naive BUT that’s the point I think. It’s a very very intriguing story and it’s a good con artist story and reads like fiction even though it’s non fiction .

"Abortion is freedom"
This is a MUST read! Very important storiess from women who have had abortions. 1 in 4 women have abortion and women deserve the rights to have body autonomy and the right to have access to safe and legal abortions without the shame or judgement. It is a medical procedure,.
"Shout Your Abortion stems from the idea that abortion is normal and we are allowed to talk about our abortions however we want."
This collection of stories is o powerful to see different stories from different people with various socioeconomic,, race sexual preferences, and with different experiences and reasons for having an abortion (s).
"Abortion is normal. Abortion is common. Abortion is happening. Abortion is a necessary medical procedure. Abortion makes people’s lives better. Abortion needs to be legal, safe, and accessible to everyone. Abortion is a thing you can say out loud."
What I loved about this collection was that it not only normalized abortion but it talked about hoiw you shouldnt feel guilty for having 1 or multiple abortions. That we need to stop saying that you should only be allowed to have an abortion if you were raped or if youre life is in danger. all abortions are a right that all woman should have .
"Abortion isn’t something we have to prove we deserve by having the “right” kind of unwanted pregnancy. It’s something we are entitled to regardless of the circumstances of our pregnancy, because the provision of safe, legal, and affordable reproductive health care is a human right."
I want to have this collecton on my table. there are beautiful photos and artwork in this. There are fantastic stories of women sharing their stories and we all should be supporting this and shouting for these rights for those that dont have the privilege of shouting for it theirselves.

this was a big let down from the other 2 in the series. I wondered if i shiuld have just put this t the side and come back to it but i wanted to finish the series. I stil heavily heavilty recommend Scythe! I wish that the other books would have kept with that pacing. This one i would have been happy to stay in 2 of the plot lines but this book was trying too hard to cover everything,

I expected this to be a 5 star read but it ended up being 4 star which means that I really enjoyed it but it wasn’t a omg I loved it !!
I really enjoyed the characters and the overall love story and how it went deeper than a typical love story. However, it felt a bit too slow and it had miscommunication/ lack of communication which is my least favorite romance tropes . I liked the setting a lot and really enjoyed the behind the scenes of writing a book.
Read for characters, love, and fun experiences . I really liked the research field trips they went on. Also their supporting “found families” is fantastic
