A forgettable book. It was a book I read and forgot soon after. I wasnt bothered by what others say about "misgendering" because the author and the character explain that the character refers to themselves as him/they so I feel that they are honoring the nb character pronouns. BUT this book let me down and I feel this series is going downhill as I have liked each subsequent book less and less. I am not sure if I will continue on in this series. I enjoy some of the characters and I love the town and magic system though

A great slasher amusement park horror with very very dark themes. Very well written and kept me turning the pages.
