too childish for me

The Handmaids Tale is incredible visceral, well written and the world is intricately crafted. At every point it gave the reader a chance to reflect in the stark comparison between this dystopia and present day reality and just how easily the world would be able to slip into such a political regime.

Loved it all the way through. Realistic character development. Though I kinda hated Max. He seemed like a good guy at first, waiting and shit, but i feel like the author changed him. Not that I don't like Cricket (which is a helluva name for a kid) he was also hella sweet.

I really like how feminist it is and that it shows women who are powerful, while wearing a dress. I love seeing America and Maxon as parents and some of the plot twist has be gasping. If I wasn't reading it on my laptop I'd probably have thrown the book at a wall.
