good biography, but a bit rushed and i forgot who some of the royals were mid read so that was confusing...
while the plot was bearable, the manner of speech was not. phrases such as 'bubbly', 'bogus' and 'happy-making' and any other abomination that Scott Westerfield managed to conjure up were abysmal and infuriating.
I love the reimagining of people in 21st century as modern gods. It’s lyrical and flows beautifully while talking about tragedies.
Loved it! I enjoyed the feminist approach, the grass-is-greener expectation of the main characters and the slightly mystical elements.
