It is no surprise of my love for the Shadowhunter world. I felt so much SO MUCH to the point that my heart broke especially in the beginning. But in true, Clare fashion, my heart was repaired throughout the story. I loved the parallels between characters in other series against these. For example, of Jules x Will, of phrases and memories repeated, as life often is. The stakes were so high in this last installment, and there was not a moment wasted. I was captivated from the beginning, from the richness of characters to the world I’ve grown to love. I cried. I laughed. I was utterly destroyed. When a book can make you feel so much, it is a book worth getting lost in.

That ending has me SHOOK btw.

I am also looking forward to Clare’s next installment in this world! I’m ready to go back to London!

Reread in 2019 | LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

“I like the cover...’Don’t Panic.’ It’s the first helpful or intelligible thing anybody’s said to me all day.”

The #hitcharideinjuly read-a-long has me feeling all sorts of ways! I had forgotten how wonderfully hilarious this book is with its colorful cast and crew. I love how nothing seamlessly makes sense and you just roll with the story much like Arthur Dent is thrust into this world where intergalactic space travel is probable. I devoured Hitchhiker’s my second time around and thoroughly enjoyed the subtle British humor, which I admit escapes me at times. I need to watch more BBC shows to fully be immersed. 😋

I still laughed out loud and wanted to giddily tell everyone how amazing this sci-if novel is. I was also pleasantly surprised at the nuisances I caught on my reread like the meaning of the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything!
The first time I read it, I gave the book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and that has not changed.

I am thinking about continuing on with the series! I’ve never read beyond the first book and am interested to see what adventures happen to Arthur and crew at The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

Thank you to Marc and Laura for hosting this amazing adventure through the galaxy! It was a ride I’d happily board any time! I can’t wait to talk about it with our fellow Hitchhikers! ⭐️

There are not enough stars in the world to give this beautiful book. I fell in love with Daniel’s voice on the first page, and his story gripped my heart and never let me go.

There is so much meaning in this story. So many story lines to follow with unforgettable characters. It’s a story that I know I will reread over and over again in my life time, and hope one day I can give the magic of this story to my own child.
