A brilliant start into a brilliant series. In fact, it's a little bit like the entire series in one volume. Re-reading Sandman (especially after also reading the sequel-prequel Sandman: Overture) actually enhances the entire experience a lot.
An excellent book that gives a great overview of Australian history, society and culture. I learned a lot from this. Now, where's the NZ equivalent?
Very interesting and easy to read book which brings psycholinguistics to the masses. I probably should have read this earlier, because it could have helped me a bit with my homework on "overview linguistics" ;)
Ein guter, sehr effizienter Sprachführer mit dem man schnell Fortschritte macht. Einziger Nachteil ist das die Lektionen teilweise etwas zu lange sind - es dauert bis man an den Übungen ankommt, ein wenig mehr Abwechslung wäre praktischer gewesen.

In the final part of this trilogy, we see the beginnings of how Berlin succumbs to Nazism. The characters that we've accompanied throughout the trilogy are all deeply affected by history, with families splitting between left (communists) and right (Nazis), Jews being victims of hate crimes and people watching in horror as their former friends and lovers support fascists.
I'm glad that people in Germany are going to the streets in masses, protesting the renewed rise of fascism in our government.
